LeeAnn has been involved in government relations, public affairs, fundraising and marketing in D.C. for more than 25 years. She began her career in California working at the local and state level of government before moving permanently to Washington D.C.  to finish a Master’s Degree and take a job on Capitol Hill. After that she went into the influence business, first with the Dutko Group and later as an in-house lobbyist for Volvo Group North America. During this time she rose through the ranks of Women in Government Relations, a professional society of women lobbyists, ultimately becoming President. In 2010 LeeAnn left lobbying and pivoted to marketing, communications, public affairs, fundraising and events.
