Kimberly M. Holizna, IMBA, drives advancements in the aerospace industry as an accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, international business development, and global partnerships. Currently, she holds the position of Managing Director of Global Development at  the Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI), a private 501(c)3 nonprofit research institute, where she actively cultivates, establishes, and sustains relationships with organizations both nationally and globally.

With a strong focus on the aerospace sector, Kimberly excels in counseling aerospace manufacturers on industry standards, compliance, and global outreach. She harnesses her expertise to forge strategic partnerships with renowned research universities and prestigious federal laboratories, including the Air Force, Navy, and NASA, matching technology needs. Through her efforts, Kimberly facilitates the development and commercialization of cutting-edge technologies within the aerospace and defense industries.

In addition to her role at OAI, Kimberly served as a Lecturer in Global Business Development at Kent State University College of Aeronautics & Engineering. She actively connects research faculty with industry technology needs, fostering global partnerships and promoting the importance of global business, cultural awareness, and diversity. Kimberly’s expertise extends to assisting with grant proposals for technology development and economic expansion, further fueling growth and innovation.

Kimberly’s educational background encompasses a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of State of New York and an International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) degree in International Business from Baldwin Wallace University. Leveraging her strong academic foundation, she adeptly navigates the complexities of global business, consistently delivering exceptional results.

Kimberly holds various key roles that support industry and professional networks within the aerospace supply chain. She is a Member of the Federal District Export Council, in which she drives export initiatives, and offers valuable trade relations insights to aerospace organizations. She serves as the Vice President of the International Business Network, where she fosters collaboration and facilitates connections within the global business community. She is also a member of the Policy Committee for BAB London, where she contributes her expertise to further business relationships between the UK and the United States.

Kimberly’s contributions and accomplishments have earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Governor’s Excellence in Exporting Award for Success in Export Program. This recognition underscores her exceptional achievements in promoting and facilitating international trade.
