About Harriet Russell:
For 40 years, Harriet L. Russell has helped people work better together across cultures, with less stress and more mindfulness. From Public Relations Manager at Sony in New York City, to translator and consultant for ABC News at the Tokyo Economic Summit, to jetting off to Minsk, Belarus hosted by the U.S. State Department, Harriet knows the importance of cross-cultural competence.
Harriet lived overseas for many years in Spain and Japan and is fluent in several languages. She has travelled to 60 countries on six continents. A little known fact is in 1975, she travelled overland for six months through the Middle East on Marco Polo’s Silk Route.
Decades later in her career of intercultural work, Harriet was commended by the Fulbright Commission, given an award by Rotary International for “creating friendly relations among peoples of the world”, and founded an English language library in Kyrgyzstan.
She’s a National Speakers Association member, presenter at the Global Speakers Summits, and Chapter Board member of the International Coach Federation. A published author, her latest book is: Business Ease Overseas: Building Cross-Cultural Relationships That Last.
